Bringing together a community of construction teaching professionals across the south east to share best practice, expertise, learning and solutions. Also enabling peer-to-peer support and networking, and joining up colleges, providers, employers and sector bodies.
To:
Enable construction teaching professionals across the south east to work together to respond to industry need and growth. This will support the work of the Regional Knowledge Centre and enable collaboration in areas such as tutor shortage and industry engagement.
Through:
- A digital platform enabling virtual networking, sharing of resources, curriculum info and including areas of specialism and subject specific interaction
- A lead in each part of the region and a core group to ensure the community grows and develops.
- A joined-up approach with related networks and forums as well as physical events in local areas.
Enabling:
- A greater join up across the south east harnessing knowledge, expertise and experience.
- A shared voice on any issues of importance or areas of need.
- A shared vision and mission for construction among training professionals in the south east.
